ABOUT WOODSCAPES
There has never been anything quite like Woodscape paintings before. The appeal of these unique artKits comes not only from the quality of art by the artists but from the medium in which the artists have chosen to express themselves.
The artists' work with strips of pine that are somewhat uneven in width, thickness and length. They have a variety of tones, textures, knots and densities which create a uniqueness to each of the paintings, and they bring this uniqueness to yours as well.
However, there is another side to these variations in the wood in your kit. No two kits or paintings will ever be exactly the same. Your wood will have knots where others don't. Some pieces will be cut closer to the cracks in the lath (the strips of wood) than other kits. Your wood may be denser in spots and absorb slightly less paint.
All of these differences contribute to the Woodscape experience, welcome them, they will make your Woodscape painting special and unique.

Traditional Kits
These are generally our larger and somewhat more
complicated kits. They are often the choice for
customers who do Woodscapes as a serious hobby.
Pre-Assembled Kits
All these kits are 15” x 20”. They come with all
the pieces arranged on the backerboard.This make
a project somewhat quicker. However most of the
smaller pieces are combined into larger ones
separated by an etched line. This makes the
the painting process a little more demanding.
Decorative Mirrors
These kits are done in the same way as our
Pre-Assembled. You just pick up the pieces,
paint and glue them back in place.
